Our Approach

What an engagement looks like.

Coaching is a relationship, not a transaction. This is what that relationship looks like.

Our Principles

The commitments that shape every engagement.

✦ 01

Education Before Access

Understanding has to come before access. Before wealth ever changes hands, the inheritor should grasp the fundamentals of money, the realities of their own situation, and the weight of the decisions ahead of them. We build that foundation patiently, meeting them at the questions their own life is already raising: a first paycheck, a first home, a growing family, a decision whose consequences cannot be undone. By the time access arrives, it is a step they are prepared to take rather than one that overtakes them.

✦ 02

Character Before Capital

Who someone is matters more than what they hold. Capital tends to magnify whatever character is already present — generosity grows more generous, and anxiety grows more anxious — so we coach the person not the portfolio. That means the discipline, the motivation, and the values that no advisor can manage on anyone's behalf. Our aim is a steward whose character is greater than their capital, so that what they inherit strengthens who they are instead of distorting it.

✦ 03

Generational Alignment

Stewardship works when a whole family moves in harmony. We bring three things into alignment: the parents' wishes for what they have built, the inheritor's own vision for their life, and the Biblical wisdom that anchors both. These are not competing voices to be managed, they are one direction to be held across generations. We don't replace the structure you have worked to create with advisors, attorneys, and accountants; we strengthen it.

The Process

What happens after you apply.

Application review

Connor reads every application personally and responds within two business days. If there is a fit, you will be contacted to schedule a discovery call. If there is not a fit, you will be told that directly, and where possible, pointed toward a practitioner who is right for you.

Discovery call

A 30-minute conversation with you — parent or grandparent — not the inheritor. We want to understand what you're actually hoping for, the family dynamics that matter, and the specific concerns you have. If your situation is a good fit, you will receive a concrete proposal with the engagement structure, cadence, duration, and pricing. Otherwise, we will discuss alternatives that better suit your circumstances and help you reach your goals.

The engagement itself

A standard engagement is 3 months, which includes seven private sessions with your child/grandchild, two parent alignment calls, a facilitated family conversation, an at-your-pace Legacy Curriculum, and a written Legacy Statement at the close. The process is tailored to your child/grandchild's age, the timeline of the wealth transfer, and what matters most to your family.

Your role

I encourage you to ask your child/grandchild directly how it's going because that conversation matters more than any update from me. As the person investing in this work, you will always know what it's producing. You'll get regular updates on what's being covered, the themes coming up, and how your child/grandchild is progressing — a clear picture of the engagement at every stage. The substance of individual conversations stays confidential, since coaching depends on trust, but the direction and the results stay fully visible to you. What gets shared, and how often, will be established with you up front.
